About this Course

Successful completion of this course certifies those interested in working as Assistant Lifeguards / Swim Instructors and is a prerequisite for National Lifeguard and the LSS Swim Instructor programs. It emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. 100% attendance is required and must be able to complete swimming and skill standards throughout course to pass. Prerequisites: Bronze Medallion (by the first day of course) Total Training Time: 21 hours
